Quiero compartir con Ustedes, mis 12 artistas (and I mean it...) favoritos... la idea es hablarles un poquito de ellos, poner la discografía y como detalle final, regalarles mi canción favorita, con todo y la letra correspondiente...

Empezamos con los Doves, trio no-oriundo de Manchester, pero adoptado por la ciudad debido a la cercanía de su pueblo natal.. formado por los hermanos Jez (guitarra) y Andy (Bajo y Voz) Williams con Jimi Goodwin (Batería)

Tienen 3 discos de estudio (casi 4) y uno de B-Sides:

Mi historia con ellos es curiosa: Hace (calculo) 5 años, algún sábado que regresaba de la fiesta a MUY altas horas de la noche, prendí la Telera a manera de arrullo y le deje en MTV... de pronto en una despertada de esas en las que la cruda empieza a anunciar su llegada, estaban transmitiendo el video de "Pounding", del "Last Broadcast"... no sabía quien era, no conocía la letra, pero el riff de la guitarra me hizo despertar... Sonaba súper chingón y aún y con el sonidito Manchesteriano, no sonaban como nadie...

Urgue, urgue y urgue y finalmente conseguí el disco en dónde venía la antes mencionada, además de "There Goes The Fear"... canción que al dia de hoy, está ya incluída definitivamente en el soundtrack de mi vida... (alguna vez me hizo llorar y llorar y llorar viendo "Sólo Dios Sabe", la pelicula de Diego Luna con Alice Braga (hija de Sonia)... someday, I'll tell you why...
